We created Arriv in 2020, when we found that the online check-in experience is where most conversions are lost in the customer acquisition process for urgent cares and hospitals. Due to complex forms, bulky processes, and unintuitive design, people were unwilling and unable to find and confirm treatment at a care facility. Within 90 days, we designed and built a new online check-in tool and launched the beta version with a leading urgent care network. After 1 month with Arriv, the group had increased online conversion by 80% over their existing check-in tool.
With cremation on the rise in the U.S., the American death care industry is experiencing a significant shift away from traditional burials, impacting funeral home profits for at-home services. Other revenue streams such as pre-planned funerals with preneed policies provide some relief, but not without challenges of third party agents and limited consumer awareness. After rigorous discovery and solution validation, we developed a software platform that provides a meaningful funeral pre-planning experience for clients and a rewarding new line of business for funeral homes, along with a complete library of branded marketing assets.
The typical commercial loan process is complicated and cumbersome, relying on a labor-intensive, “old-school” process of handling hundreds of email exchanges between borrower and lender with file attachments containing highly personal information. After months of deep research in the commercial lending space, we launched the product build for Vela. Through months of rapid testing, validation, and agile development we created a platform that revolutionized the commercial loan experience, connecting lending teams and loan applicants to the right documents at the right time.
